Under no circumstances should students store data which they will later need to retrieve on the local drive (C: Drive) on any computer in the iLC. Data stored on the local drive (C: drive) will be deleted periodically. It is not possible to retrieve this data.

Currently students have 3 main methods of working with and transferring data required for use in the iLC.

  • USB Memory Key - Students are permitted to use a memory key to transport data in and out of the iLC.
  • CD-R/CD-RW - Students may bring their work into the iLC on a CD. If you are using a CD-RW you will not be able to burn the work you completed back on the CD-RW.
  • Email Attachment - Students can send themselves an email with their data attached to the email. When in the iLC they can log into their email account and retrieve the data from the email attachement.
